How to change the text size of your Web browser

Changing the text size on your browser depends on several factors, including the browser version that you’re using and the way the Web page was coded. For the best text sizing experience, make sure you have a current Web browser.

Instructions

Follow these steps to increase or decrease the size of the text for the web page you are viewing:

Windows & Mac OS users

Press ‘ Ctrl ‘ and ‘ + ‘ to increase the text size, ‘ Ctrl ‘ and ‘ - ‘ to decrease the text size. ‘ Ctrl ‘ and ‘ 0 ‘ returns you to the default ‘normal’ size.

*On Apple Macintosh computers, the command key is indicated by an Apple or a cloverleaf symbol.
